Sun Mark is seeking a Hotel Manager to work at their hotel portfolio in the Home Counties. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the hotel industry and will be a problem solver. The person will have a willingness to learn, be self-motivated and work to deadlines bring and your own special skills to the job. Loving your job and translating that love to our guests/clients is our main priority, so it is not just one job to do. Instead, well expect you to do multiple tasks and also can speak multi languages preferably Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Gujrati. As the hotel manager you are managing all operational aspects of the hotel including recruiting colleagues, training and coaching the ambassadors and assistant hotel managers. You take full ownership and accountability for the hotels performance, and are responsible for reporting to the management.
Ensure Guest Satisfaction
Work alongside the hotel team to welcome our guests.
Actively look for ways to deliver a memorable guest experience, no matter how big or small, and empowering the hotel team to do the same.
Oversee the hotel environment to ensure it is a clean, comfortable, safe and secure putting the health and safety to all colleagues and guests at the forefront of what you do.
Lead, encourage, and inspire Ambassadors and Management in order to support the operational procedures
Ensuring a sound understanding of brand values.
Train the hotel team, develop and nurture talent, provide feedback, monthly and yearly evaluations.
Demonstrate excellent problem analysis skills and decision making.
Oversee shift schedules, ensure adequate cover at all times, and assign tasks.
Be responsible for your own personal planning and work organization
Be responsible for accurate reporting to the Support Office, which includes payroll, invoicing, and human resources
Ensure a working understanding of legislation that governs the operation of a hotel and its activities; including employment law, health and safety, food safety, alcohol licensing, first aid and fire safety
Food and Beverage
Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge of restaurant and guarantee quality.
Oversee the management of F&B revenue targets and drive commitment to monthly. results
Maximize Revenue Opportunities
Seek opportunities to generate revenue while providing added value to our guests.
Lead the Engineering departments with the goal to effectively manage the hotel room inventory, ensuring rooms are maintained and presented in top condition and have close relationships with outside and 3rd parties contractors.
Oversee reporting hotel revenue and be responsible for the handling of cash.
Manage the purchasing of all food and beverage items and hotel operating equipment
Oversee the management stock in line with fluctuating levels of business, minimizing waste, and delivering a monthly stock report
